Tener – to have

***Tener + que + infinitive is used to talk about what someone has to do.***

Ex: Yo tengo que enseñar la clase. I have to teach the class.

Conjugating Present Tense –ar Verbs

Take your infinitive (the verb in its untouched state), drop off the “ar” and add the appropriate verb ending according to your subject.

Present Tense –ar verb endings

Tú as Vosotros(as) áis

Él, ella, Ud. a Ellos(as), Uds. an

Yo compro I buy Nosotros(as) compramos We have
